RAKU BEER restarts in Hiroshima with nine taps on August 4
RAKU BEER in Mikawacho, Hiroshima, restarts at 2:00 p.m. on August 4. The standing-bar format brings back a Japan-wide draft lineup, led by Hiroshima Neighborly Brewing and joined by eight other beers across a wide range of styles.
RAKU BEER in Mikawacho, Hiroshima, restarts at 2:00 p.m. on August 4. The craft-beer specialist, which opened in 2011, is relaunching in a standing-bar format, with a daytime-friendly setup and rotating draft beers from across Japan.
The opening tap list spans nine beers and a broad geographic range. Hiroshima Neighborly Brewing appears twice, joined by CHORYO Craft Beer, Ise Kadoya Beer, WEST COAST BREWING, Daisen G Beer, NUDE BEER, GRANDLINE BREWING, and KIRIN BEER. The styles cover fruit sour ale, golden ale, rice lager, sour IPA, hazy double IPA, fresh hop wheat ale, saison, and pilsner.
The beers on tap are: 'Daihogorei Sakagura SOUR ALE -Ichika-', 'Remoburu GO HIROSHIMA', 'NARA CRASH', 'Electro Squash Sour IPA', 'Full Hop Alchemist r1 -2026-', 'Vaienhop', 'Kodama Wood Aged Saison with Citrus (Shonan Beer collaboration)', 'VERY VERY BERRY', and 'Heartland'. Alongside beer, the shop also serves lemon sour, highball, and meat dishes. Located about five minutes from Hatchobori, RAKU BEER is set up as an easy stop for an afternoon pint.
