Bar FUKURO opens new taps from Tokyo Aleworks and Flora Fermentation
Bar FUKURO, a beer pub in Kamata, Tokyo, has added two new guest beers: Tokyo Aleworks' Flagon Filler and Flora Fermentation's Apollo. The lineup contrasts a classic Best Bitter with a hop-forward Hoppy Lager.
In a post dated June 3, Bar FUKURO announced two new taps.
New tap beers
- Tokyo Aleworks / Flagon Filler
Style: Best Bitter / ABV 4.0%
This beer comes from Tokyo Aleworks in Itabashi, Tokyo. As a Best Bitter, it leans into a gentle malt sweetness and a clean, balanced bitterness. It is the kind of pint that can be sipped slowly without feeling heavy.
- Flora Fermentation / Apollo
Style: Hoppy Lager / ABV 5.5%
Flora Fermentation's lager from Higashiomi, Shiga, adds a refreshing, crisp base with hop-driven aromas reminiscent of peach and pear. The result is a beer with a bright, easygoing palate and a floral finish.
Bar FUKURO, a beer pub in Kamata, Tokyo, continues to pair these guest beers with event announcements for June. On June 5, the bar will host a half tap takeover with TIELS Brewing, titled "fumika birthday half TTO," from 18:00 to 24:00 in a regular-service format. A Black Tide Brewing TTO is also scheduled for June 19 from 18:00 to 24:00, followed by an event-style session on June 20 from 15:00 to 24:00.
For drinkers looking for a malt-forward bitter or a hop-scented lager, the current lineup offers two clear options. The post highlights the appeal of a bar where the tap list keeps changing and the range stays interesting.
