At Beer shop Llama, a beer pub in Shimorenjaku, Mitaka City, Tokyo, Nara Brewing’s “UNDERWATER : LUMINOUS” has been newly tapped. This is a New Ver. that adds a new interpretation to “UNDERWATER,” a collaboration with the sake “Kaze no Mori.” It is a Sake Yeast Beer with an ABV of 6.0%. The beer is described as having a refreshing aroma reminiscent of red-fleshed watermelon, honeyed apples, and ramune, along with a sweet-tart profile and an easy-drinking character, made with sake yeast, brewing water, and soyashi water.

The shop’s current tap list is also impressive. From sour-driven beers to pilsners, saisons, altbiers, IPAs, hazies, and porters, the lineup clearly offers plenty of comparison points. It is easy to choose according to mood, whether you want a light and lively pint, an IPA with substantial hop presence, or a roasty beer to finish with.
