CinCin Yamanakako Brewery announced a music event titled “Tap ’n’ Tap in Cin Cin,” to be held in its taproom. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 29 (a national holiday), with regular service from 13:00 and the live performance expected to begin in the evening around sunset. Admission is free, and guests can enjoy a session of tap dance and jazz while drinking beer.
The performers are a trio centered on tap dancer Tansei, joined by guitarist Yohei Kamimura and bassist Hiroyasu Ito. The post also invited people to stop by casually and enjoy the performance unfolding right in front of them.
CinCin Yamanakako Brewery is a craft beer brewery in Yamanakako Village, Yamanashi Prefecture, and its official website describes it as “a craft beer brewery at an elevation of 1,001 meters, the closest to Mt. Fuji in Yamanakako.” The brewery is connected by a beer tube from the production area on the first floor to the taproom on the second floor, allowing guests to taste beer just as it is brewed. The brewery also emphasizes brewing with Mt. Fuji spring water and a focus on local ingredients and seasonality.
This event can be seen as a plan that makes use of the character of that space. Since it opens from the daytime, it is easy to stop in for just one drink earlier in the day or stay longer for the live performance. It looks like it will be a day to enjoy Yamanakako craft beer and live music in the same place.
