Five Beers from Beer Again Brewing Arrive at Kagurazaka BEER OLYN, from IPA to Sour
Five guest beers from Shizuoka's Beer Again Brewing have arrived at the Kagurazaka beer pub BEER OLYN. The lineup spans a hop-forward IPA, an ESB that showcases malt richness, a stout layered with coffee and coconut, a fruit-forward pale ale, and a low-alcohol sour.
Five Guest Taps from Beer Again Brewing
Kagurazaka's BEER OLYN has received five new beers from Shizuoka's Beer Again Brewing. The lineup includes HOLHY IPA, which puts its three-dimensional hop character front and center; EX ESB, which balances malt sweetness and toastiness with an easy-drinking finish; KUROCHAN, with lingering notes of roasted coconut and coffee; HARASATO SUNSET, with aromas reminiscent of berries and strawberry tea; and COCOMON, a low-alcohol beer with a pleasant lemon puree acidity.
For Those Who Want Something Robust, and Those Who Want Something Light
Looking at the lineup, the styles are neatly divided into IPA, ESB, stout, pale ale, and sour ale, making it a great set for side-by-side tasting. Among them, HOLHY IPA is built with dry hopping of Galaxy, Citra, Idaho 7, and Mosaic, making it ideal for those who want citrus and tropical fruit aromas. EX ESB centers on biscuit-like, toasty malt sweetness, making it a beer to savor slowly.
KUROCHAN is a stout that leans toward a dessert-like experience, while COCOMON is light at ABV 3.5% and works well on hot days or for daytime drinking. At a beer pub like BEER OLYN, the appeal is being able to sample a range of beers with distinct personalities in small pours.
The Current Tap List Is Also Broad
On the taps inside the shop are Kyoto Brewing's "Worion," NOVORU's "musubu," VATTEN's "OFF SIDE," Kanpai!'s "Yureizaka Hazy IPA," Dieu Du Ciel!'s "Sentinelle," Taihu Brewing's "Yoso" and "Konome," Hetty Alice's "Big Fog," and Tekikaka Cider's "Tekikaka Cider Koutoku." While beer is the focus, the fact that cider is also available broadens the options even more.
If you're near Kagurazaka Station and want to enjoy a wide range, from hop-heavy beers to light lagers and aromatic ales, BEER OLYN is a dependable spot. On Sundays, it is open from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., making it convenient for anyone who wants to start drinking early.
