Kanazawa-based BREW CLASSIC has introduced a beer brewed for the 13th anniversary of Jibiruba, a long-established beer bar in the city.

The beer is called Rhythm of the Monkey. It is a West Coast IPA at 7% ABV, brewed with Pilsner malt, Nelson cryo, Nelson, Mosaic, and Columbus hops, and WLP001 yeast.

According to the brewery, the beer is built around a clean, well-defined body with layers of passion fruit, citrus zest, and white grape character. Those fruit notes are paired with a dank hop expression, giving the beer a brisk, hop-forward finish that encourages another sip.

This was a limited anniversary project, and BREW CLASSIC says there is no stock left at the brewery. For now, the beer can be tried at Jibiruba. It should appeal to drinkers looking for a classic West Coast IPA shape with a balance of brightness, fruitiness, and dank hop character.
