Onomichi Brewery previewed in an Instagram post that it plans to brew 'Setoda Lime IPA' next week. As the name suggests, it is a session IPA made with limes from Takane Island in Setoda Town, and the brewery's official lineup presents it as a light, easy-drinking beer with 4.5% ABV and restrained bitterness. You can imagine a finish that lets the citrus aroma shine while going down smoothly.

The shop is a brewpub at 1-2-24 Kubo, Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. It’s about a 15-minute walk from Onomichi Station, and it’s open Friday and Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Its location makes it easy to stop by between sightseeing stops, and the appeal is being able to enjoy freshly brewed beer on site.

Onomichi Brewery is known for brewing beers that incorporate ingredients from surrounding areas such as Onomichi, Setoda, Innoshima, and Mukaishima. This Setoda Lime IPA is another beer that clearly reflects that approach. At the shop, it’s one to enjoy alongside the brewery's standard and seasonal beers.
