TAP&CROWLER Shibuya adds Shiroyama Brewery's Maazaku IPA and a Camado x Shima pale ale
At TAP&CROWLER in Shibuya, Shiroyama Brewery's Maazaku IPA and CAMADO Brewery x Shima Brewery's Shimakama Pale Ale were added to the taps. The post follows the previous day's APE BREWING 12 TAP TAKEOVER and highlights two beers with very different profiles.
TAP&CROWLER sits in a backstreet of Udagawacho, a short walk from Shibuya Station. It is a craft beer bar focused on volume sales, so you can drink in-house or have beer filled into a crowler to take home. With 22 taps rotating day by day, the lineup changes often enough to make every visit feel current.
New on tap
- Maazaku IPA / Shiroyama Brewery
An IPA brewed with tokunoshima-grown chomeiso. It leans into firm hop bitterness and bright citrus aroma, making it a substantial beer with enough structure to stand up to spiced food or barbecue sauce.
- Shimakama Pale Ale / CAMADO Brewery x Shima Brewery
A pale ale made with Cascade and Northern Brewer. Fruit-forward hop character, a light spice note, and gentle bitterness come together in a balanced, easy-drinking package.
In the post, the bar first thanks guests who came to the previous day's APE BREWING 12 TAP TAKEOVER, then introduces the two new taps. That transition from event energy to everyday drinking is part of what makes TAP&CROWLER interesting: it is a place where special releases and regular pints naturally meet.
The room itself is casual and counter-driven, which fits the style of the bar. You can try a beer by the glass, decide what you like, and then fill a crowler to bring the rest home. For anyone tracking what is being poured in Shibuya right now, this is a bar worth keeping on the radar.
