A Collaboration Beer Born in Tokyo

Vallejo Brewing Company's post introduced "Tokyo Dreams," created through a collaboration with Tokyo Aleworks. The post explains that Vallejo Brewing's Andrew Conlon met Randy, the head brewer at Tokyo Ale Works, in Tokyo, and that connection led to this release.

Features of the Beer

"Tokyo Dreams" is described as a tropical IPA, using Cryo Mosaic hops and Abstrax Nelson oils. Designed to foreground bright tropical-fruit aromas, juicy notes, and a clean, modern hop character, it looks like a beer with a clearly defined finish. It is currently being served on tap and available in cans to take away.

What It Means to Drink It at Tokyo Aleworks

Tokyo Aleworks' Itabashi flagship is a brewpub on the first floor of Itabashi Cask Village. During the day it can be used as a cafe, and at lunch it serves tacos, while in the evening American food including its signature Buffalo chicken wings is on the menu. It also has 12 house-brewed beer taps, making it appealing for leisurely drinking alongside a meal. This collaboration linking Tokyo and Vallejo is the kind of beer best enjoyed in the atmosphere of that kind of venue.
