BEER BAR Bitter lines up five taps for August 15 service
BEER BAR Bitter in Shinjuku’s Tsukudocho announced an August 15 Saturday opening from 2:00 p.m. The tap list featured five beers from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Japan, and the U.S., alongside a food menu built to match.
BEER BAR Bitter shared a five-beer tap list for Saturday, August 15. The lineup included Vedett Extra White from Belgium, Vinohradska 12 from the Czech Republic, Ordinary from the BOLD GOOD BEER × BEER BAR Bitter collaboration, Shibahama from FETISH CLUB, and Three Factor Authentication from Barebottle Brewing Co.
The styles spanned White, Czech Pilsner, Bitter, West Coast PA, and Hazy IPA. That gives the bar a range from easy-drinking wheat beer to a malt-forward bitter and hop-driven IPAs.
Food on offer included bone-in chicken, fruit tomato achar, liver mousse on brioche toast with Japanese honey, sansho simmered edamame, melon with prosciutto, cottage pie, and fries. As a beer pub in Tsukudocho, Shinjuku, it reads as a place for a proper drinking session with food to match. The 2:00 p.m. opening also made it suitable for an early start.
