It is easy to access, just a 5-minute walk from either Shimokitazawa Station or Setagaya-Daita Station, making it an event you can drop by casually.

Akatsuki Brewery Tokyo Lab's Booth

Exhibiting will be Akatsuki Brewery Tokyo Lab, known as the directly operated brand of Akatsuki Growlers. The brewery started with small-batch brewing in Kyodo, Setagaya, and has also worked on JAS-certified organic beer production in Hachimantai, Iwate. Its strengths are an organic-minded design and careful craftsmanship.

At the venue, visitors will find the fragrant "Akatsuki Brown," along with the brand's signature Dragon Eye series. The lineup includes "Dragon Eye Sky Organic Pilsner," "Dragon Eye Magma Organic IPL," "Dragon Eye Sun Organic Golden Ale," "Dragon Eye Snow Organic Pale Ale," and "Dragon Eye Kai Organic Light Pilsner," making it possible to compare different styles side by side.

The Fun of Tasting Side by Side

From pilsner to IPL, golden ale, pale ale, and light pilsner, the range is broad, and one of the highlights is the ease of tasting while tracking the contours of bitterness and aroma. For beer lovers, a good starting point is a light, crisp pilsner to reset the palate, then moving on to the more aromatic ale styles to better grasp each one's character.

Akatsuki Growlers in Tomigaya is known as a shop where you can enjoy beer at home with growlers and bottles to take away. If you find a label you like at the festival, you can also look forward to slowly savoring it at the shop next time. Tasting in Shimokitazawa, then meeting again in Tomigaya. Centered on Akatsuki Brewery's beers, this event makes it easy to enjoy that back-and-forth experience.
