At the beer pub CraftBeerCafe Atami no Bakushiya in Chuocho, Atami City, new guest beer taps have been announced. This time, the lineup features one beer that lets you feel the makers of eastern Shizuoka, along with one aged-style beer from a strong Kanagawa brewery.

The post introduced the following two beers:

- Numazu Craft "Shima Gengyo Peach Saison"
- Sankt Gallen "El Diablo 2022"

"Shima Gengyo Peach Saison" is a saison style that pairs light drinkability with an easy fruit character, making it a good match with food. By contrast, "El Diablo 2022" is a beer you would expect to savor slowly, and it offers a very different option even on the same tap list. A setup that gives beer lovers a wide range for side-by-side tasting at a single shop is hard to miss.

The same post also announced that fresh oysters from Akkeshi have arrived. As the name suggests, one of the shop's strengths is the way it lets you enjoy beer with oysters in mind. You can bring out the mineral character of oysters with a fruity saison, or deepen the finish by pairing them with a fuller-bodied beer. Because two different styles are on tap at the same time, building pairings becomes even more interesting.

In tourist-heavy Atami, being able to drink across local craft breweries and breweries from outside the prefecture is something only a specialty shop can offer. Given the shop's context, including its appeal to daytime drinking, this looks like a guest tap update that works for everything from a first drink on the weekend to a more settled tasting session.
