The beer pub umbrella in Sonezaki, Osaka, will open on Wednesday, May 27 at 6 p.m. In the basement space, a tap list has been put together so guests can choose craft beer to match the mood of the day, making it hard for beer lovers to miss.

There are five draft beers available that day. As the craft beer lineup, there is Kiwi IPA / Two Rabbits Brewing (Shiga), a beer that brings hop aroma to the forefront; ★Ichigo Ichie / Egre Brewery (Hyogo) x Umbrella (Osaka), a collaborative beer bearing the bar's name; and Kozaru IPA / Minoh Beer (Osaka), known for its light, easy-drinking character. In addition, Draft Guinness (Ireland) and Kirin Lager / Kirin Beer (JP) will also be served, offering a broad range from IPA to stout and lager.

For food, they will source young corn, which is in season for only a short time, and serve it grilled with butter soy sauce. Having a seasonal dish to snack on between beers is another charm that feels fitting for a basement beer pub.

Also on sale is a "value beer ticket" that can be used for six minimum-size craft beer pours. At Basement Umbrella, it can also be used for Guinness pints; it costs 5,800 yen, is valid for six months from the date of purchase, and will end once sold out. Upcoming closing days are listed as Sunday, May 30; Thursday, June 4; Sunday, June 7; and Sunday, June 14.
