Novel Craft, a beer pub in Minami-Karasuyama, Setagaya, Tokyo, posted its Friday 5 p.m. service details with a food lineup and tap list.

The featured dish for the day is a "W cheddar cheese and jalapeño burger." The pub says it has added W cheddar and blended beef tongue mince into the patty, aiming for a burger built around layered cheese richness, with jalapeño acidity and heat to finish. For dessert, the kitchen also prepared a house blueberry cheesecake made with sauce cooked from fresh blueberries rather than a packaged product.

The beer recommendation of the day is Georgetown's "Lucille IPA." The bar describes it as a long-running staple, saying it has already been opened so many times that it has lost count. It is positioned as the beer to pair with the burger, then carry through to the blueberry cheesecake finish.

By the glass, Novel Craft listed Pen Druid's "Spontaneous Cherrys" and Another Moon's "Earthly Pleasures." The tap list also included Kemkur / Coolship Pils, Belwoods / Come What May Dry-Hopped, Georgetown / Lucille IPA, Cave D'occi × Novel Craft / Reflection, and four Novel Craft Brewing beers: Sweep, Dubwise, Down Tempo, and BPM 80.

With guest beers and house beers mixed together, the lineup gives diners a choice between food-first ordering and style-first beer selection. It reads like a straightforward Friday-night setup for people who want burgers, IPA, and dessert in one stop.
