Beer festival in Sendai

NANBU CRAFT BREWERY announced on Instagram that it will join the beer festival at Ikoi Plaza in Sendai's Kōtōdai Park from August 14 to 16, 2026. The post says the brewery will be there and encourages visitors to stop by for a summer toast, even with a somewhat unstable weather forecast.

A brewpub with a maker's feel

The brewery is based at 13-32 Yahatacho, Morioka, Iwate. According to its site, guests can enjoy freshly poured beer while looking over the brewing equipment, and the venue also includes a spacious wooden deck and a BBQ Beer Garden. That setup gives NANBU CRAFT a clear, brewery-first identity.

Core beers to know

The post does not list a specific festival tap lineup, but the official site highlights four core beers: Pale Ale, Stout, Weizen, and IPA. Pale Ale balances citrus aroma with malt sweetness and bitterness; Stout leans into roasted nuts, chocolate, and coffee; Weizen is soft, fruity, and creamy; IPA pushes hop aroma and bitterness to the front. Even without a confirmed lineup, the brewery's range is easy to read from the styles it makes.
