About VITAPO

Yellow Beer Works has introduced a new beer called VITAPO on Instagram. It is a sour ale with 5% ABV, created in collaboration with Beerbomb Shinjuku and BREWBEAST Brewery.

In the post, the brewery describes the concept as mixing sour flavors with sporty and vitamin-inspired elements. The beer is presented as something suited to moments when you want to refresh yourself after a sauna session or exercise. Service is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. on the 24th.

Yellow Beer Works is based in Osaso, Fukushima City. On its official website, the brewery says it is run by one of the city's largest rice farms and uses some of its own rice and vegetables, local fruit, and Fukushima-grown hops as part of its brewing approach. The site also notes that the brewery-and-taproom opened in 2020, underscoring its roots in local agriculture.

VITAPO fits neatly into that background. It is a release shaped not only by flavor, but also by the brewery's local identity and the cross-regional collaboration behind it.
