GROUNDTAP BREWERY in Saijo, Ehime, is releasing the collaboration beer "KANZASHI" with BRANCH COFFEE. It features the aroma and light finish characteristic of a coffee dark lager, and will be available at PREP ROOM, TAP ROOM, and online.
Here is release information for a guest beer from GROUNDTAP BREWERY in Saijo City, Ehime Prefecture. The new arrival is KANZASHI, a collaboration with BRANCH COFFEE. The style is Coffee Dark Lager, with an ABV of 5.0%, and it is brewed using coffee beans.
The finished beer is designed with a fruity aroma reminiscent of prunes from the coffee, layered with the malt's sweetness and richness. It has a solid, substantial mouthfeel, while the finish is crisp and light in true lager fashion, and it is described as something you can enjoy almost like iced coffee. This is a calm, distinctive beer that seems to move back and forth between coffee and beer.
Sales will begin at PREP ROOM from Thursday, 4/30, and then at TAP ROOM from Saturday, 5/2. It is also already on sale through the ONLINE SHOP and the wholesale EC site, with the wholesale channel offering 350ml cans and 15L kegs.
GROUNDTAP BREWERY is known as a brewery supported by Saijo's famous spring water, "Uchinuki," and its taproom near Iyo-Saijo Station lets visitors enjoy beers with the clear, clean drinkability that reflects the local area. True to a brewery that makes the most of local water and ingredients, this collaboration also carefully highlights the combination of its materials.
