GORA BREWERY & GRILL, the brewpub in Hakone’s Gora area, has introduced a new Hazy IPA called GRADIENT. In the Instagram post, the beer is described as moving from white grape and lychee aromas into a soft, lingering bitterness, creating a flavor profile that changes gradually, much like the name suggests.

The beer is layered with ultra-premium hops and is presented as silky, smooth, and intensely juicy. At 9.0% ABV, it is a substantial beer, but the focus appears to be on balance rather than sheer weight, with fruit-forward character and bitterness working together. The hazy appearance also fits the style well, making it a beer that invites slow sipping as the aromas and flavors open up in the glass.

Sales are being offered through the online shop and at sister venues including PUB STOP, BEER BAR, PUBLIC HOUSE, and BREWERS CAFE. For fans of hop-forward Hazy IPA, GRADIENT looks like a release worth tracking, especially in a brewpub setting where beer and food can be enjoyed side by side.
