Event Details

Ohashi Denki, a beer pub in Minami-Senbaimachi, Chuo Ward, Kumamoto, will host a Farmentry tap takeover on Saturday, July 4, 2026, from 12:00 to 22:00. According to the post, Farmentry head brewer Nishizaki will also be there, making it a chance to drink through the lineup while hearing directly from the brewer.

The Lineup

Six beers are planned for the event. The post describes the selection as ranging from a well-made lager to mixed-culture beers, offering a broad spread of clean, expressive, and fermentation-driven profiles.

- Special House Lager: Described as Farmentry’s calling card. Clean, easy to drink, and suitable as both a first pour and a final beer.
- Dark Mild: A classic dark mild with coffee and dark chocolate-like roast, plus a gentle malt sweetness.
- GRAPEEE: A beer fermented with saison yeast and wine yeast in parallel, bringing grape-like fruitiness and a bright aromatic profile.
- Shindan: A spice saison using Japanese sansho, flower pepper, and star anise. Light salinity and a dry finish make it food-friendly.
- No.06 MINAZUKI: A Cold IPA with citrusy, pine-like hop character and a crisp finish for warm weather.
- ELAN: A Belgian dubbel with ripe apple, dried fruit, and caramel notes.

The post suggests starting with Special House Lager and building the rest of the session from there.

Food

Food will include Mutsu Bay mussels and other special dishes prepared just for the day. The cooking will be handled by Mari from Shumandanfini. With a lineup that moves from lager into spice and mixed-fermentation territory, the event looks well suited to pairing beer and food throughout the day.
