Canon Brewing to celebrate third anniversary with Hazy IPA debut and merch sales
Canon Brewing in Setagaya, Tokyo will hold its third-anniversary event on Wednesday, August 26. The brewery plans to debut a Hazy IPA brewed with 100% fresh hops grown by Kobayashi Farm, along with special dishes and original merchandise.
Canon Brewing, based in Setagaya, Tokyo, says it will hold its third-anniversary event on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. In its Instagram post, the brewery thanks local residents and beer fans for supporting it since its summer 2023 opening.
The event will feature a Hazy IPA brewed with 100% original fresh hops grown by Kobayashi Farm in 2026, plus special dishes prepared by the Eureka chef and a vegetable market from Kobayashi Farm. The brewery also plans to hand out anniversary stickers and sell original T-shirts and caps.
According to the post, the original merchandise started early in-store sales on Saturday, August 15. The lineup includes three T-shirt designs at 5,000 yen each and three cap designs at 3,500 yen each, tax included. The event will be cash only and will be mostly standing room; guests are asked not to bring large bags.
For a brewery and taproom in Setagaya, the lineup points to a celebration built around beer, food, and local ingredients.
