u.b.p_brewery taproom: 40-TAP TAKE OVER at IBREW Akihabara in April
The brewpub u.b.p_brewery taproom in Urawa, Saitama, has announced its April event and pop-up schedule. Starting with the 40-TAP TAKE OVER at IBREW Akihabara, it will expand to events in Saitama, Chiba, and Nagoya, and on April 12 it also has a release-celebration project for "Asaka no Kisaki Ale."
The brewpub u.b.p_brewery taproom in Urawa Ward, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, has announced its lineup of April pop-ups and events. While based at its taproom, the schedule shows an active push into events in Tokyo and outside the prefecture, giving it a presence not just as a place to drink craft beer, but also as a hub for events.
The highlight is the "U.B.P BREWERY 40TAP TAKE OVER" from April 4 to 5, with IBREW Akihabara as the venue. The poster also says "Original collab IPA on tap!" so it looks like a chance to sample a wide range of U.B.P BREWERY beers.
Elsewhere, on April 12 at the Iida Sake Shop e-Nomi Festival in Shiki, there is a planned "Asaka no Kisaki Ale release celebration!" Asaka no Kisaki Ale is known as a fruit beer made using mandarins that grew at the eaves of farms in Asaka City, and it is a beer that makes use of the peel to leave a clean citrus character.
The busy schedule continues on the weekends with the Saitama Musashino Beer Fest from April 18 to 19, the Chiba Beer Fest from April 25 to 26, and Nago Beer on April 26. There will also be pop-ups in Urawa Misono timed to Urawa Reds home games, with the schedule packed through April 29. Rather than simply drinking leisurely inside the shop, delivering beer in a way that connects with city events is what gives this taproom its appeal.
