The brewpub “Brewpub Truth” in Nishi-Gotanda, Tokyo, announced its tap list for April 6, 2026 on Instagram. Since line cleaning was carried out after business last week, the post also notes that the lineup is “smaller than usual.” Even so, the selection is packed with distinctive beers.

That day’s lineup includes Stone’s IPA, Katashina Brewing’s Gotanda Breath, Karl Strauss’s Mosaic IPA, Dieu du Ciel!’s Solstice d'Ete Framboises, and Katashina Brewing’s Under the Dark, Gotanda Sky. In addition to an IPA tasting comparison, the list also includes a Scotch ale, a wheat sour, and even a grapefruit-forward session IPA, making for a lineup with a wide range of flavors.

Particularly noteworthy are the two Katashina Brewing beers with Gotanda-inspired names. Gotanda Breath is a Scotch ale made with chestnuts, while Under the Dark, Gotanda Sky is a session IPA accented with grapefruit, giving it a strong connection to the shop’s name. Karl Strauss’s Mosaic IPA should deliver the hop-derived aroma you’d expect, and Dieu du Ciel!’s Solstice d'Ete Framboises, a wheat sour made with raspberries, seems like a fitting final pour.

Brewpub Truth also has a very straightforward lineup of foods that pair well with beer. The post highlights mapo tofu rice, Utsunomiya gyoza, potato chips, and smoked nuts, making it a place where you can eat well while you drink. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 17:00 to 23:00, and Sunday from 16:00 to 21:00. It’s an easy spot to settle in for more than just one drink in Gotanda, especially if you want to take your time over food and beer.

The post also announced that the 7th anniversary campaign is still running, including a raffle for anniversary goods as well as a selection of 15-year-aged awamori koshu. It looks like it will be a day to enjoy both a fresh tap update and the extra side attractions that make the shop unique.
