"Fruitful Life Citrus IPA," released by Baird Brewery Garden Shuzenji (Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture), is a seasonal beer that puts its citrus character front and center. It has an alcohol content of 7.0%. By adding locally grown daidai and summer mikan, it is designed to layer hop bitterness with fruit aroma and acidity.

The brewery is known as a "farm-style" facility where brewing and farming take place in a lush natural setting along the Kano River. The taproom at Baird Brewery Garden Shuzenji is located on the third floor, overlooking the brewing equipment, and its appeal lies in being able to enjoy beer together with views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. True to Baird's style, it uses seasonal fruit rather than extracts, incorporating the distinctive character of the ingredients themselves into the beer.

Sales are centered on a 6-bottle Build Your Own Box set, and the beer is also available in 6-, 12-, and 24-bottle packs. Although it is a fruit beer, this is a beer that aims not to lean too heavily into sweetness, instead seeking a finish where the boundary between citrus and hops becomes blurred. It is a release that straightforwardly reflects Shuzenji's natural surroundings and Baird's craftsmanship.
