Noboribetsu Jibeer Oni Densetsu in Hokkaido's Noboribetsu city has shared two new beers on Instagram. The post also notes that orders can be handled through social posts, direct messages, and email, and points readers to the brewery's official shop at the BASE store and the Oni Densetsu section on Best Beer Japan.

The headline beer is Matured NEW Kumaoni IPA. It is a 7.5% ABV, 50 IBU Hazy IPA in the brewery's Oni Densetsu style, built around Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra, and YCH303, with Nectaron and Teirus added. The aroma is described as dank with tropical citrus, while the finish is drier and more restrained than the previous version, though the bitterness remains firmly in place.

The second beer is Kinoni Pale Ale 'Simcoe Single Ver.' at 5.5% ABV and 40 IBU. It leans into citrus, passionfruit, and pine, with a clean profile and sharp bitterness. Carbonation is kept lower, making it an easy-drinking pale ale that still keeps the hop character front and center.

These two releases capture what Oni Densetsu does well: bold names, clear hop expression, and a style that balances intensity with drinkability. For hop-focused beer fans, the contrast between the matured hazy IPA and the Simcoe-only pale ale is the most interesting part of the lineup.
