The beer pub “umbrella,” located on the basement level in Sonezaki, Kita Ward, Osaka, opens at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6. On Instagram, it introduced five different styles as that day’s “today’s draft beers.”

Today’s draft beers
- Akkeshi Coast IPA / Huitriere (Hokkaido) - West Coast IPA
- Pao Pao Sour / Kamigata Beer (Osaka) - Sour Ale
- Blooming IPA / Minoh Beer (Osaka) - Belgian IPA
- Draft Guinness (Ireland) - Draught Guinness
- Kirin Lager / Kirin Brewery (JP) - Lager

Looking at the lineup, there are two IPAs that let you fully enjoy hop bitterness and aroma, while sour ale, Guinness, and lager are also included, making it an easy lineup to choose from depending on your mood that day. It suits not only people who want to take their time with craft beer, but also those who want to start their first drink with something light.

In addition to Osaka breweries Kamigata Beer and Minoh Beer, the lineup also includes Hokkaido’s Huitriere, Ireland’s draft Guinness, and Kirin Brewery, so both the regions and the styles are wide-ranging. One of the pleasures of a beer pub like this is choosing your first glass while looking at the taps’ expressions and deciding what to drink.
