Brewpub Truth, the brewpub in Nishi-Gotanda, Tokyo, announced its tap list for May 27, 2026 on Instagram.

The day's lineup starts with Stone Brewing's "IPA," followed by Katashina Brewing's "Gotanda Breath" (Scotch Ale w Chestnut, 7%) and "Under the Dark, Gotanda Sky" (Grapefruit Session IPA, 4.5%). It also features KANPAI BEER's "Kiyomizu-Zaka Bright IPA" (6%), DIEU DU CIEL's "Solstice d'Ete Cerises" (Wheat Sour, 5.9%), and Tokyo Aleworks' collaboration with Barney of Napalm Death, "A Bellyful of Malts and Peace" (English Mild w Chilis, 4%).

A notable feature is the presence of several beers named after Gotanda, the local neighborhood. "Gotanda Breath" and "Under the Dark, Gotanda Sky" stand out as beers that connect with the area's atmosphere. The styles also cover a wide range, from IPA, Scotch ale, wheat sour, and grapefruit-forward session IPA to a chili-infused English Mild, making it an easy lineup to compare side by side, from lighter beers to maltier ones.

The regular food menu includes "Mapo-Tofu Rice," "Potato Chips," and "Smoked Nuts." Being able to spend time pairing beer with food is one of the pleasures unique to a brewpub.

Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For anyone looking for distinctive taps in Gotanda, this is worth checking out.
