Pescatore gets a refresh in Umegaoka

Izakaya Bakushu Yoshioka (Italian Bar Yoshioka) in Umegaoka introduced a new take on its pescatore on Instagram. The post says the dish can be ordered as Rosso or Bianco, giving guests a choice between a tomato-based version and an oil-based version built around seafood richness.

The restaurant is set up as a relaxed neighborhood Italian bar with natural wine and domestic craft beer at its core. Warm wood tones and an easygoing atmosphere give it a second-home feel. The food menu includes fresh noodles from Awaji Island, lasagna, bongole bianco, and red shrimp genovese, making it a practical stop for beer and food pairing.

The craft-beer board is built around four taps. At the time of the post, the lineup was:

- Hoppy Weizen / Minoh Beer
- Fresh Beyond the Pacific / Ise Kadoya Beer
- Bergamo / Pecora Beer
- Passific IPA / Passific Brewing

Minoh Beer's Tea Bitter was also listed as coming soon. For drinkers who like seafood-driven pasta and want to choose their beer from a focused tap list, this is a clear match.

The post also mentioned a 3rd anniversary party later in the month, with service planned around a special menu. If you are looking for a small Umegaoka spot centered on pasta and craft beer, this is one to note.
