Umbrella, a basement beer pub in Osaka’s Kita ward, opens at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10. For the night, the bar is serving five beers in total, combining three craft-beer picks with two familiar standards. Guinness is available by the pint, making the lineup practical both for a quick after-work stop and for a longer tasting session.

Tonight’s taps are:

- Mr. Dunk / Ise Kadoya Brewery (Mie) - DDH West Coast IPA
- Hopzilla Mega Motueka / Two Rabbits Brewing (Shiga) - Extra Pale Ale
- Umechu / Minoh Beer (Osaka) - Fruit Ale
- Draught Guinness / Guinness (Ireland) - Draught Guinness
- Kirin Lager / Kirin Beer - Lager

The board mixes hop-forward beers, a fruit ale from Osaka’s Minoh Beer, and classic pours that give the lineup a steady backbone. Mr. Dunk brings the DDH West Coast IPA angle, Hopzilla Mega Motueka leans into a bright hop profile, and Umechu adds a fruit-driven local option. Draught Guinness and Kirin Lager round things out for drinkers who want something familiar between the more expressive beers.

Umbrella is also selling a value beer ticket set: six small servings for 5,800 yen, valid for six months from purchase while stocks last. The schedule lists closures on June 14, 21, and 28, and the pub is also set to host the umbrella RiB 10th-anniversary party on July 11 and 12.
