BEER TAP Tapped

At "KARAKURI -Craft Beer & Oden & Sake-", located in the basement of Kanda-Kajicho, Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, service of a guest beer has begun. This time’s pour is Shiga Kogen Helles!? / Shiga Kogen Beer (Nagano). In the post, it is introduced as a tap opening at KARAKURI.

Rather than emphasizing the hop presence that is typical of Shiga Kogen Beer, Helles!? is a style that centers on malt flavor and aroma. Using traditional German aroma hops and homegrown Shinshu-wase hops, it is said to offer a clean, food-friendly drinking profile, with noble-hop nuances neatly integrated.

KARAKURI is a homely izakaya that serves craft beer, sake, and natural wine, along with creative dishes centered on oden. It also includes a bottle shop, and supports takeout of bottles and cans, draft beer, sake, and wine by the measure, as well as bringing in your own growler. It’s an easy place to stop by for just one drink after work, or to sit down and enjoy a proper meal.

The post also highlights a sake item: Kidoizumi FUKU Shichifukujin Omachi Taru-zake / Kidoizumi Brewery (Chiba). As temperatures start to ease in early spring, it’s a lineup you’ll want to enjoy slowly with a meal.
