KARAKURI -Craft Beer & Oden & Sake-, a basement beer pub near Kanda Station in Tokyo, is celebrating its 8th anniversary with a two-day event. According to the Instagram post, the shop reached its 8th year on June 17 and will host a gratitude event on June 20 and 21.

- June 20: 15:00-22:00
- June 21: 15:00-21:00
- Standing-only service
- Payment by cash or PayPay only
- 500 yen cover charge, including a small appetizer

The drink list centers on eight taps served in 12oz pours, plus sake by the go, natural wine, bottled beer, oolong highballs, and oolong tea. The format is different from the usual service, and the shop is not accepting outside food or drinks for this event.

For beer fans, the key point is the daily special tap. On June 20, KARAKURI will pour `Yamabushi Ichi Saison One` from `Shiga Kogen Beer`. On June 21, the featured beer is `Minoh Stout Farkin` from `Minoh Beer`. The lineup offers a clear contrast between a saison’s bright, dry character and a stout’s roasty depth.

KARAKURI is known for craft beer, sake, natural wine, and creative dishes built around oden. The venue also has a bottle shop, making it a useful stop not only for draft pours, but also for takeaway bottles and cans. For two days, the anniversary event will turn the shop into a compact celebration of the beers and drinks that define it.
