Craft Beer Market Toranomon has tapped CRAFTROCK BREWING's `Sansho Lager` as its latest guest beer. The beer is a revival of a recipe that was already well received after its first brew, and it is being presented as an award-winning seasonal choice for the shop's tap lineup.
The beer uses grape sansho supplied for the eel restaurant Unagitakase in Hachioji, with the sansho carefully stone-milled. Rather than pushing spice character alone, the brewery note emphasizes a lager-first balance. With 5.0% ABV and 20 IBU, it is positioned as a food-friendly beer that should work well with Japanese dishes as well as a wide range of meals.
Toranomon is the flagship first location of Craft Beer Market. The shop offers a line-up that is approachable even for first-time craft beer drinkers, plus food designed to pair naturally with beer. With up to 30 craft beers on offer, weekday lunch and dinner service, Saturday evening hours, and easy access from Toranomon, Uchisaiwaicho, and Shimbashi, it remains a practical stop for both a quick pint and a longer session.
