BEER NOVA Updates Its Taps on March 24, With Domestic and International Beers Led by VERTERE
The Urawa beer pub "BEER NOVA" announced its tap lineup to coincide with its business hours on Tuesday, March 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Centered on several VERTERE beers, the lineup also includes craft beers from Japan and abroad such as Chuckanut Brewery, Yorocco Beer, and Hop Kotan Brewing, along with a substantial selection from U.B.P BREWERY's "Made in Urawa" line.
The beer pub BEER NOVA near Urawa Station in Saitama updated its lineup for Tuesday, March 24. In this post (Instagram), the emphasis was less on a standard tasting set and more on a lineup that broadly covers the beers you want to drink right now.
What stands out most is the depth of VERTERE. Salix, 10th Anniversary Grape Sour, Tilia, Effrensia, Viola Cera, Iris, Casimiroa, and Coffea let you take in the many-sided character of the Okutama brewery all at once. Frustum is a VERTERE x Ise Kadoya Beer collaboration, making it an interesting comparison pour for drinkers as well.
The other breweries do not miss either. From Chuckanut Brewery's pilsner, Hop Kotan Brewing's CoCo Mugi, Yorocco Beer's Brown Saison, O/A NAGASAKI CRAFT BEER's AWAKE, and Y.MARKET x BEER HUNTING URAWA's Captain Mark, the lineup brings together beers with clearly different flavor profiles.
Also important in the shop's context is the "Made in Urawa! U.B.P BREWERY" section. Multiple beers including Lala Kölsch, URAWA CITY ALE, Hazy Celebration, and Shadow are listed, making the reason to drink in Urawa clear by centering a local brewery. In addition to beer, a new tap of fermented ginger ale, "Akki Kofuku" (Shogano Mushi), has also been announced, adding more options for pairing with food.
With the cherry blossom season bringing activity to the city, the nights are still cold. BEER NOVA's tap lineup, which makes it easy to settle in near the station, looks like a strong choice for both a first stop and a second stop.
