Banji Kaichou, a beer pub in Yaizu, Shizuoka, has tapped Far Yeast Brewing's KAGUA Rouge as a guest beer. The original post says it was connected “for the first time since Ikebukuro,” which suggests a welcome return to draft service after some time.

KAGUA is Far Yeast Brewing's brand built around the idea of fitting naturally on the Japanese dining table. According to the brewery, the lineup uses yuzu and sansho pepper, and Rouge is the darker, fuller-bodied expression with roasted malt and a spicy sansho character. Far Yeast also recommends enjoying KAGUA in a wine glass and serving it around 8–10°C so the aroma stands out.

Banji Kaichou is a beer pub, so this kind of guest tap makes sense: a beer with clear aromatics and a food-friendly profile. KAGUA Rouge brings roasted malt, spice, and a substantial body, making it a strong candidate for slow sipping alongside food rather than something to rush through.

Even without a flashy limited release, the return of a classic name to a pub tap is news worth noting for beer drinkers. If you're in Yaizu, this is the sort of beer that rewards taking your time with the first sip, then checking how it shifts as the glass warms and the food comes into play.
