Otaru Wine Gallery, operated by Hokkaido Wine, will hold "Enjoying Local Food with a Winery... Beer?? Lunch" on May 31, July 19, and August 23. The venue is accessible by free shuttle from JR Minami-Otaru Station, with assembly at 10:30 a.m. and dismissal at 2:00 p.m. Each session is limited to 18 participants, and the participation fee is 14,300 yen (tax included).

At the center of this program are Jingisukan from the popular Otaru restaurant Kitatoragashi and the company's craft beer. The official announcement says guests can enjoy it with commentary from the beer brewing manager. Wine will also be served, with premium sparkling wine and red and white wines available for 300 to 500 yen per glass. Even though it is a winery event, the fact that beer is placed alongside the main attractions is what makes this event distinctive.

Hokkaido Wine is a producer known for making wine from domestically grown grapes, and Otaru Wine Gallery is one of its bases. As a facility located in Asarigawa Onsen in Otaru, it has continued to offer experiential events that combine wine with local ingredients. This lunch program also incorporates a winery tour, creating an experience that lets visitors enjoy sightseeing, food, and brewing culture all at once.

What beer fans will not want to miss is the chance to enjoy the company's own craft beer paired with Jingisukan. In Otaru, a place known as a wine-producing region, the proposal of a food experience centered on beer reflects the broad appeal that defines Otaru Wine Gallery. Reservations are being accepted through an external reservation site.
