CRAFT BEER BAR IBREW Ginza will host a Shiokaze Brewlab Tap Takeover over two days, Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29. The post introduces this as a long-awaited project that came to life six years after IBREW's purchasing lead, Ryo, and Shiokaze Brewlab head brewer Chris met in 2020 and talked about doing a TTO someday.

The key beer-related point this time is the planned tap count of over 25 taps. In addition, the centerpiece will be the early tapping of "Ginza Kölsch," a collaboration beer with IBREW Ginza. Designed as an homage to Shiokaze Brewlab's signature "Keiyo Kölsch," it is described as a beer in which Ryo also took part in recipe development and brewing. The post also recommends comparing Keiyo Kölsch and Ginza Kölsch side by side, creating a setup where visitors can experience how the two beers express the same core design philosophy in different ways.

On the day of the event, Chris, brewer Takashi, and sales staff Riki are also scheduled to visit, though detailed timing will be announced later. Food will be handled by Chef Anesaki, who is planning special dishes centered on American food with ingredients from Chiba, the home base of Shiokaze Brewlab.

IBREW Ginza is known as a beer pub where guests can enjoy a large number of taps in central Tokyo. This time, that strength is paired with the brewery's story, making it a clearly appealing event for beer fans even before the lineup is announced.
