Tsumabru Brewery, a self-brewing microbrewery in Tsumagoi, Gunma, said on Instagram that it filled cans of its flagship beer, Tsumabru IPA.

On its official site, the brewery says it uses homegrown hops and brews with the local landscape in mind. Its lineup includes Tsumabru IPA alongside Tsumabru Pale Ale and Tsumabru Pilsner, and the brewery currently sells beer at the shop, offers tastings, and supports takeout. The site also notes that the restaurant side was paused in autumn 2024, while bottled and draft service at the shop resumed in April 2025.

The latest can-filling update fits that beer-first shift. For drinkers, it suggests that one of Tsumabru's core beers is being prepared in a format that is easier to take home and enjoy beyond the brewery itself.
