May 29 Service Notice

“Dagashi to Beer to Coffee no Omise Chiitoko Shoten,” located in Shimoshita, Midamachi, Shimousuwa Town, Suwa District, Nagano Prefecture, announced that it would be open on Friday, May 29 from 10:00 to 22:00. In the post, the carrot tart was introduced as “great with an Americano,” giving the impression of a day at the shop where coffee, light food, and craft beer can all be enjoyed in turns.

Draft Beer for the Day

There are four draft beers on offer. The lineup spans a wide range, from a crisp pilsner to an aromatic pale ale, a tart sour IPA, and a stronger beer at 8% ABV.

- TG Pilsner (4.5% / Baeren Brewing)
- Pale Ale (5.5% / Minoh Beer)
- 7th Revolution Sour IPA (6.0% / Nomcraft Brewing)
- Eleven Eleven Ten ~TOI TOI TO~ (8.0% / Kyoto Brewing)

From a beer lover’s perspective, the way the four beers are arranged reveals the shop’s thinking. It includes a dependable pilsner for quenching your thirst, a pale ale that highlights malt flavor, a sour IPA to change the mood, and a stronger glass that also works well as a finisher, making it easy to choose how to drink alongside dagashi and baked sweets.

The Chiitoko Shoten Character

Chiitoko Shoten is a small beer pub that puts dagashi, beer, and coffee on the same table. Dine-in is generally one drink per person, and payment is accepted in cash or via PayPay. Guidance for using the Yotsukado parking lot is also posted. Business hours are Wednesday 12:00–22:00, Thursday through Monday 10:00–22:00, with the last order for coffee at 21:00 and for everything else at 21:30.

The post also announced closures on Monday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 2, as well as planned price increases for some items starting Wednesday, June 3. Since the shop can be used both as a daytime dagashi store and as an evening beer pub, it would be wise to check the latest notice before visiting.
