Crazy Stone Brewing Announces Two New Releases for Advance Reservation
Crazy Stone Brewing in Mizuho Ward, Nagoya, Aichi, introduced two new beers: "American Golden Wheat Ale" and "Hoppy Pilsner." Both are scheduled to be released in about 10 days, and advance reservations are now being accepted.
Crazy Stone Brewing (Mizuho Ward, Nagoya City, Aichi) announced two styles as new beers: "American Golden Wheat Ale" and "Hoppy Pilsner." In the post, the brewery explained that both were carefully crafted from ingredient selection to flavor design as brews that are "more than just delicious."
American Golden Wheat Ale
This beer was designed around the concept of "clean + light + balanced." Using WEYERMANZ WHEAT MALT PALE, it brings out a grainy character from the wheat, while building the base on Pale Ale Malt to add body and biscuit-like nuances. Fermentation was tightly controlled with restraint, aiming for a smooth and silky mouthfeel, subtle malt sweetness, and a clear finish.
Hoppy Pilsner
This beer keeps the traditional pilsner structure while adding individuality through hop design. Magnum is used for bitterness and Cascade for aroma, layering sharpness with citrus and floral impressions. A key feature is that the bitterness is not pushed too far forward, resulting in a crisp and clean drinking experience.
Key Point
The post positions this batch as one focused on "structure." Malt provides body and framework, hops contribute aromatic layers, and fermentation delivers a clean impression, with the goal of keeping none of them overly dominant. It can be seen as an offering for drinkers who find ordinary lagers a little lacking.
The brewery also announced the simultaneous release of gift boxes. A set of eight 350 ml cans and a set of twelve 500 ml cans are available, making them suitable not only for home use but also as gifts. Reservations are currently being accepted, with release planned in about 10 days.
With this new release, the Nagoya brewery is rolling out two beers of different styles at the same time. Rather than flashiness, the lineup emphasizes precision in design, and it should also be enjoyable as a side-by-side tasting.
