At “Novel Craft ノベルクラフト,” on the second floor of a building in Minamikarasuyama near Chitose-Karasuyama Station, two new Field Ales bottles were introduced to match the bar’s 5 p.m. opening.

The two additions are Wash away and Field Saison. `Wash away` is a saison made with noble hops and finished with bottle conditioning. The post describes it as “refreshingly fruity” and suggests it should pair well with food. `Field Saison` is the brewery’s standard saison, brewed with Cascade hops from Matsumoto, Nagano, combined with classic European hops.

Both bottles are 500ml, and they are available not only for in-house drinking but also to take home. In true beer-pub style, you can choose whether to enjoy them by the glass in the moment or open them slowly at home.

The tap list that day was also full of highlights. `Hazy State` (Collective Arts), `Lou` (Cellador), `Full Up` (Novel Craft Brewing × Ben's Slop Shop), `Golden Dream` (Mingel), `Creek Lager` (Mugi Zakkoku Kobo), `Wah` (Novel Craft Brewing), and `Foam me brown` (Field Ales) were on tap, offering a wide range of styles. With hazies, lagers, collaboration brews, and even brown styles all covered, it was an appealing lineup for beer fans with different tastes.

For food, the shop also recommended its “Coconut Lemon Sag Chicken Curry.” On a day when there are beers that pair easily with food, like saisons and lagers, having a dish like this is reassuring. It looks set to be one of those days when you can keep drinking through a combination of bottles and drafts, centered around craft beer.
