Lindemans Brewery – Pomme Lambic

Posted By John on August 21st, 2009

Beer: Pomme Lambic

Brewery: Lindemans Brewery in Belgium

ABV%: 4%

Reviewed: 21-Aug-2009 on Episode 154

Appearance: Straw yellow color with a lacey white head. Looks a lot like fizzy apple juice.

Aroma: Sour granny smith like apple.

Taste: The sour apple begins the flavor with the subtle sourness of the lambic coming through in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Much thicker than expected by the appearance. Very much like apple juice in body.

Aftertaste: Lingering sour apple flavor.

Overall: An interesting and well made fruit beer that delivers what it promises.

Best enjoyed: with an apple streusel or caramel desert.
