We headed up to La Vista to visit the new location of Nebraska’s newest brewery. Lucky Bucket Brewing Company has been Brewing since 2009. We were excited to visit the brewery as they also house Sòlas Distillery. Sòlas is currently the only Nebraska distiller with a product on the market (Joss Vodka).

Goose Island – India Pale Ale
Beer: India Pale Ale
Brewery: Goose Island Brewery in Chicago, IL

Appearance: Gold in color with a thin lacey white head.
Aroma: The citrus hops flavor is apparent in the aroma as well as some sweet malt.
Taste: Sweet malt followed by a citrussy hops flavor.
Mouthfeel: Light body with a dry finish.
Aftertaste: Hop flavors linger in the finish.
Overall: Decent American style IPA.
Best enjoyed at: the Goose Island Brewery in Chicago.
