We headed up to La Vista to visit the new location of Nebraska’s newest brewery. Lucky Bucket Brewing Company has been Brewing since 2009. We were excited to visit the brewery as they also house Sòlas Distillery. Sòlas is currently the only Nebraska distiller with a product on the market (Joss Vodka).

Free beer for Fargo residents.
During the floods this spring in Fargo the mayor promised that he would buy everyone who helped sandbag a beer. It turns out that he wont have to because Dixie Brewing Company in New Orleans is sending 24000 beers. Residents will receive a ticket for one free beer.

Bigger beer in Alabama.
Alabama State Senate passed bill HB373 which would allow the sale of beer above 6% abv. The bill just needs to be signed by the governor.

Beer prices go up for Octoberfest.
The Munich Office of Tourism announced that beer prices at Octoberfest are going up this year. A beer will cost between $11.63 and $11.78.
